Very disappointing and concerning experience
Honestly, I’m shocked and extremely disappointed. After just a couple of weeks of using the Medela InBra Motion and cleaning it thoroughly every day, I discovered what appeared to be worms in the connection between the motor unit and the breast pump. I also own a much cheaper wearable breast pump from another brand, which has a silicone barrier that prevents milk from getting into the motor connection. I’m surprised that such an expensive product from Medela doesn’t have a similar protective feature. Now I can no longer use this pump. Even after cleaning it, I’m afraid there may still be contamination inside the device, and I don’t feel safe using it to express milk for my baby. For a product designed to be used for feeding newborns, this is completely unacceptable. I expected much better quality, hygiene, and safety from a premium brand like Medela. I hope the company takes this issue seriously and provides a proper solution.
