Electric Nasal Aspirator

Saved me many times so far with my now 17 month old to clear that congestion especially at night time. The lullaby is a great addition to cover the noise. My little one started to get a bit of an aversion to it with the sucking noise when in action even still, however the benefits outweigh for him to be able to breathe effectively. The lullaby is mockingbird as well which is a favourite tune of my little one's. The suction has two levels which is effective for any situation I find I use the top most times.

Having only ever used the traditional bulb type nasal aspirators which my baby is not a fan of, I was not expecting her to like this at all but she does not even flinch when using it. The music that the nasal aspirator plays when using it was a surprise but it was definitely a bonus!! I highly recommend and probably could not be without this now! I have since purchased another one to keep in the nappy bag.

The satisfaction you get when using the Nasal Aspirator is amazing. Knowing my children are able to have a good night sleep. It is easy to use and easy to clean. It comes packed with great features to use. It plays music while you are using it. Great idea to calm the little ones down. It is gentle on the nose and fast at removing the snot. I would highly recommend this great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Riteaid nasal aspirator is the perfect addition to our medicine cabinet, proving its effectiveness from the first use. It was easy to use, even on a slightly squirming 17 month old. Yet to try on our older child but the wider tip should definitely come in handy for him. This is a much friendlier version for than the one I was given for my eldest which required actual manual sucking (insert physical dry retch) This one Washed easily and cute added function of the music that plays when suction is happening. Will also be an item I carry with me for emergency use when travelling from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the Rite Aid Nasal Aspirator as part of the trial team and it couldn't have come at a better time, my 5-month-old started with mild sniffles and then developed some congestion. The Rite Aid Nasal Aspirator is a great tool that requires a very specific technique in order for it to be effective and aspirate all the nasties out. The Rite Aid Nasal Aspirator has an amazing feature where you can use 'quiet' mode or 'musical' mode that you can switch on and off to appeal to babies. In my particular case, unfortunately baby was not cooperating and quiet mode was the best option. It took a couple of tries, but upon following angle and usage instructions, I realized what I was doing wrong. It does get tricky with a wiggly baby, but the suction is strong and the plastic nose applicator is soft and gentle for tiny noses. There is 2 different plastic applicators and both very nice and gentle on skin. Overall, it is a great item to have in your emergency box, especially for the length of time that babies and infants cannot blow their own noses, the Rite Aid Nasal Aspirator is a life saver and clears that congestion in no time. Additionally, very easy to clean all the removable parts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only ever used manual nasal aspirator bulbs, and never really thought an electric nasal aspirator was worth it. However, I recieved this nasal aspirator to trial just as my baby experienced his first cold - and wow. I absolutely loved using this (I never thought I'd say that about a snot sucker), because this was so easy to use, there was no need to wrestle my baby to ease his congestion. The music feature was great (and worked well with my older children, but I turned that function off for my baby). I also found it really easy to clean, the snot was contained in the collector and was very easy to empty. I would recommend this to keep on hand in any medicine cabinet/nappy caddy, as you never know when congestion will strike.

The suction on the nasal aspirator isn't that strong so it took me a while to suction and clear my baby's nose. I didn't really like that you have to hold the button down while using the aspirator as it makes it a bit hard to manoeuvre. I did like that it has the option of playing music while suctioning to keep my baby distracted and not phased by the aspirating noise. I would also prefer if it had more nozzle options (mainly a longer one to get snot higher up in the nose cavity). The aspirator is super easy to clean which is fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used other nasal aspirators before and my baby isn’t much a fan because the time it takes with the tip in his nose is to long. This one was great because the suction is strong so the process is really fast, leaves him less upset, clears out his nose quickly. My baby is 8 months old, my advice if you have a baby that is fussy with having their nose suctioned (normal) choose the attachment that will help you get the job done the fastest. Again the strength on this one is great so as long as you’re set up with the right equipement it is far more successful than those with weaker suctions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I was unable to try this on a child within the trial timeframe so I am comparing this to another nasal aspirator. In general, I think this is a product is that will do what it is designed for which is quickly removing mucus from the nose. Even at the lower setting it had a much stronger suction. It also has 2 chambers for the mucus to flow through so it is unlikely for the mucus to flow into the motor if used correctly. And it has a music function which may help with distracting a baby but I found it mechanical and not soothing at all.

My son recently had a congested nose and this was great at removing some of the congestion. We have tried another brand previously but he wasn't a big fan of it. This one has 2 speed options and plays music when you press either speed button, so it was great at distracting him and helped him stay still for easier removal. The top components were easy to remove and I just put them in the washer and steriliser for an easy clean.

I was very pleased with the soft bag it came in, along with batteries supplied, the aspirator comes with two heads - one standard and one slightly longer. I find the standard nozzle is quite short, but is easy to fit onto the machine for suction. The longer nozzle is more ideal for the deeper boogees but I found putting the attachment into the device was difficult, as it seemed to have a narrower straw and it needs to be on properly to suck effectively. Unsure if I have it on enough still, but it does take a bit of holding in one spot to grab the boogees. It plays mockingbird nursery rhyme while you use it and has two suction settings. It is good value for money and does what it is meant to do.

With a newborn coming into stuffy season the Rite Aid Nasal Aspirator has been excellent for our child as they don't mind us using the aspirator on them as it is gentle but still effective to remove any mucus and the music the aspirator plays is fun and soothing for them as well. Love the feature of the 2 suction settings as well as the 2 sizes of silicone tips. The Rite Aid Nasal Aspirator is easy to use, clean and comes with a handy storage bag to keep it safe at home or on the go.

I didn't know what to expect as I had only ever used manual bulb aspirators. However, this pleasantly surprised me! The soft silicone tips were very gentle on bubs nose and the suction is STRONG! I found the thinner, longer tip to be more effective. The music option is a nice touch as it plays a lullaby while using, however it was quite loud so my newborn wasn't a fan of the music, however my older kids seemed to really enjoy the music - so I am pleased it was easy to switch on and off (there is a switch for the music next to the batteries!).

It is such a handy device to use during winter and the sick seasons. It has a really gentle but effective suction. The nasal aspirator is a good sizd for my kids small nostrils. It is very easy to take apart to clean the parts. It also comes with a little travel bag which makes it perfect to pack and take on the go. It has 2 suction modes and it very easy and straightforward to use. I would definitely recommend it as an essential item to have on hand for surviving sickness with young kids through Melbourne Winter.
