Healing Cream Tub 125g

Never thought I’d be writing a review about Sudocrem for myself, but here we are! After giving birth, I spent my hospital stay wearing postpartum nappies and, much to my surprise, ended up with nappy rash! 😂 The irony of needing nappy rash cream before my newborn did! Thankfully, they had one in the Bounty Bag and it came to the rescue! It helped soothe the irritation and gave my poor skin some much-needed relief. Definitely one of those postpartum essentials you don’t realise you need until you need it! Turns out Sudocrem isn’t just for babies — it’s for mums in nappies too! 😂

The best nappy cream and works a treat with a baby’s sensitive skin. The cream is not sticky on fingers and doesn’t have a strong smell. It’s easy to apply. The product is available to purchase in almost everywhere. The redness on the bottom went away after two applications. The sample tub is perfect size to carry on the nappy bag as well. Would highly recommend this product to any new mum to use on their babies.

It is used best prior to a nappy rash developing every time you change a nappy. It creates a barrier against moisture when applied to clean skin preventing irritation which would lead to a nappy rash. It is easy to apply. The texture is soft and smooth. The top of the jar is easy to get off one handed when changing a nappy. I can safely say that I have only experienced nappy rash twice between my three kids. The formula and skin protection prevents nappy rash. Its soothing barrier is soothing for kids bottoms. An excellent product that should sit on every change table!

I always keep it on hand because it’s so useful for different little skin problems, especially nappy rash and irritated areas. It creates a protective barrier on the skin and helps calm redness and discomfort really quickly. I love that it’s easy to apply, a little goes a long way and one tub lasts ages. It’s one of those reliable products you can reach for without overthinking because you know it’s going to do the job. For me, it’s a must-have with babies and something I’ll continue buying again and again. A true classic that every parent should have in their cupboard.

I apply it every night to prevent diaper rash, as well as during daytime changes whenever I notice any initial redness. Remarkably, by the very next diaper change, all irritation and redness have completely disappeared. What I appreciate most is the texture and performance. I use it nightly to prevent nappy rash and will use at other nappy change times if any redness is present. By the next nappy change any redness or irritation has gone. I like that despite being thick out the tub it doesn’t leave a film on the skin, it actually absorbs while protecting my babies delicate skin. I also like the small tubes for on the go in my bag and the larger tub for at home.

As a mum of two children, I have been using this product for 4 years now. From the day I first got it I cannot recommend sudocream healing cream enough to other parents. I notice an instant relief from nappy rash from both children and visibly notice a massive difference almost instantly. It has become a staple in our household with multiple purchased. Have also sent it with my children to daycare and keep spares in nappy bags, the car and suitcases when travelling. I don’t think we could survive without it especially with a nearly 4 month old currently.

It’s been around forever so something must be good about it. Thankfully we haven’t had a lot of nappy rash so haven’t had to use it a lot but when there has been a little bit of redness we put some in and by the next nappy change the redness has well and truly decreased, even in such a short time. I’ve found after a day the redness is gone and I don’t need to use it anymore. Hopefully we don’t incur extreme nappy rash but if we do we know we’ll be fine with Sudocream!

You know it's great as it has been around for a long time. Sudocrem is a zinc-based cream. It is great for soothing babies skin. This product is suitable to use from birth. Sudocrem provides a barrier between the skin and allows the nappy rash to heal up. You do not need to apply alot. This product is easy to use. You can purchase it from a range of places. Great size for travelling and storing.

I don't use it every time I change my baby's nappy but at the first sign of redness/ nappy rash I put a bit on his bottom. You don't need much as it spreads very easily, so the tub lasts for ages! By the next nappy change after I've used the Sudocream, the redness is almost completely gone from my baby's bottom and any sign of nappy rash has calmed down. By two changes after applying, I usually can't see any redness at all! It's amazing! I also really quite like the smell of it! I really like that it comes in multiple sized tubs, so I always have a small one in my nappy bag and a bigger one at home!

Whether you are treating nappy rash, stings, cuts, minor burns, chafe, eczema or any other typical skin issue, sudocrem is usually what you need! I have used this on myself and my children for years and have never had an issue. I really enjoy this size, as my family uses this so often - having a larger size tub is very handy. I would recommend anyone with children to have a tub of sudocrem on hand at all times!

Both my husband and I love to use this barrier cream to help soothe any rash, redness or irritation our little one has from their nappy and occasionally spots were their clothes may have irritated their skin. We also use it at times to just to protect and prevent their skin form any future rash, redness or irritation. I notice our little one seems much happier after applying Sudocreme Healing Cream, so I know they are feeling soothed and it is doing its job. I also notice their redness disappears usually by the next nappy change, again I know this barrier cream is doing its job. I also love that Sudocreme Healing Cream comes in different sized tubs as well as tubes so I can have one at the change table, one in the nappy caddy and one on the go in the nappy bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sudocrem is the only barrier cream we have used for our son who is now 9 months old. We chose this one above the rest because as well as being a great barrier cream it also has a high zinc content and anti bacterial properties. Meaning it can be multipurpose in helping reduce inflammation and also can help prevent bacteria growth. On top of this, great for sensitive soft skin and it goes a long way!!! We are still on our first pot 9 months in and we use it on our son every day. We haven’t had to extend it beyond nappy cream, however with its antibacterial properties you could absolutely find other uses for it.

Compared to many barrier creams, it does not contain food ingredients making this ideal to use on babies from a very young age. While it has a thick texture, it is not greasy and does not require a large amount of product to be effective making this great value. It also comes off easily on clothing by rubbing or by washing normally in a washing machine. Would highly recommend and it comes in different sizes and formats although I prefer tubes over tubs.

We have been using this from day one to help protect and prevent nappy rash as best as we could. Our baby has only had nappy rash a handful of times and disappears so quickly within days or so. We have purchased around 3 or so tubs already and a tube version for our nappy bag. It has a thicker consistency but spreads evenly and easily. We also received small sample tubs at the hospital and that was also a great size to add to our nappy bag.
