Audio Character The Little Mermaid: Ariel

This was passed onto us by a friend, and I can see why. 'Part of your world' and the story are lovely, but the second song (on the UK version) is badly sung and contains the phrase 'Oh my God'. Might not be a big deal for some people but it's an unacceptable phrase in our household. I've seen previous comments from Tonies UK saying it was approved by the licensing org. In the UK, even mild blasphemy is enough to push most age ratings higher - in films it gets you slapped with a PG label. Quite surprised this is marketed to children with no warning about the language (it's not even subtle, quite crass and unnecessary). Given the number of similar criticisms on this Tonie's reviews, this is one that should really be sorted out and not constantly excused in the replies.

My 2 year old loves this tonies. I love it too my only complaint, which is the same with most of the Disney tonies is the singing! It’s so off key and just not right 😬 otherwise I love it

Wish I could return. Tonie is pretty but none of the songs are from the movie. Terrible singing too. So disappointing

The voices in this tonie are BAD! They are so bad it is painful to listen to and my toddler definitely notices how bad they are. Don’t recommend this one!

I love this tonie. Sounds amazing! I kinda wish the Ursula song could be removed because it's very negative as a whole. It's the villain of the movie.

My 1.5 year old loves this one. She has no clue what the lyrics are but I hear her belting out the tunes as they play.

Would be excited to hear it but our battery only lasts 9-15 min. Have contacted tonie but getting no where

I got this used at a garage sale, and I’m glad I didn’t spend much money on it. I hadnt realized the Disney tonies are covers and not the original music. It’s bad. We won’t be buying anymore Disney tonies because of this

The songs aren’t in the movie and quite frankly it’s the weakest of our collection. It doesn’t have any of the popular well-known songs either. We’re getting rid of it because it’s one we know we won’t listen to and will just take up space. Rubbish!

Wish it was the actual character voices, it’s completely different voices

Not the music from the original movie. Ariel’s voice is good, but Pour Unfortunate Souls is criminally bad compared to the original. Kiss the Girl is very meh as well.

I really like this one! Little mermaid was always my favorite princess! I think I love it more than my little one

I think the concept is amazing. I am not sure if mine is defective or if the volume is just not good. You can barely hear it. I am going to buy another character to see if its the mermaid or the box itself before I decide if I actually feel like I wasted my money.

I got this tonie for my daughters first birthday and she loves their songs it is super cute and the songs sound great!
