Crayola Signature Non-Toxic Premium Watercolor Crayons w/ Brush - 12 Pieces

I found these for a super great price at a Ross dress for less store, and have been wanting to try a more expensive brand. I LOVE THESE watercolor crayons. They mark well with little pressure and you can get amazing results with varied pressure and varied water application. The available colors are very vivid and blend well. These work well with mixed media applications as well. I hope more colors will be available soon because I would definitely invest in these over the more expensive brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The signature watercolor crayons painting set comes with 12 crayons , one paintbrush, and a mixing template. they are bright and vibrant and mix and blend well. I would recommend these for older kids as the crayons do break easily however these were perfect for my 9 and 12 year old even though they say 14 and up. It's creates very little mess and easy cleanup. The crayons are a fun way to allow your kids to paint without the mess of painting. There's also many different ways to paint with them, either with the crayons itself or with the brush. My older kids painted for hours creating different masterpieces. This is a very cool product and works very well. I would highly recommend for older children that love to color and paint.

They don't have the coverage I thought they'd have. They are basically very expensive crayons and nothing like watercolor paints. The papers identifying the colors wouldn't stay on after the first use. Very disappointed and will not buy these again.

The packet of watercolor painting crayons was very well received by our daughter for whom we placed the order. We look forward to seeing the end product as she experiments with this new creative tool.

I bought these watercolor crayons mainly for myself, but I have shared with my grandkids. Go with the age recommendation because little ones just waste the crayons with the way they heavily color large areas (not the best way to utilize them). I love them! I feel like a real artist with the results I got from blending with water. I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought these as something new to try for my husband who has created wonderful watercolors. But I couldn't resist trying them. Even non artistic people like me can create beautiful things.
