Wireless Door Sensor Is the door sensor required? The door sensor is OPTIONAL and only needed in specific cases: Power doesn’t cut off: If the cigarette lighter stays powered when the engine is off, the door sensor ensures Cleverelly triggers. Audio stays on: If your car’s radio stays on after the engine is off, the sensor ensures you still hear Cleverelly’s reminder. Installation: Remove the battery isolation tab before installation. Install both sensor parts <1 inch apart with the embossed triangle symbols facing each other. Mount on the interior frame and driver’s door, ensuring it’s secure. Test by pressing the sensor button to trigger Cleverelly’s reminder.
