What parents are saying
AI summary of customer 45 reviewsCustomers overwhelmingly praise the Tonie for its complete story narration with familiar film phrases, noting children listen nightly and fall asleep to it reliably. Many describe the experience as soothing and engaging, with kids requesting it repeatedly and viewing it as a timeless keepsake. Reviewers appreciate its emotional resonance and nostalgic connection to the original film. Some mention disappointment that it lacks original movie voices, describing the narration as less engaging than expected, though most feel this does not significantly diminish the overall value and bedtime effectiveness.

Firm favourite for bedtime!
byFirm favourite here as my son is a huge Shrek fan. Narrator's voice is good to listen to. It's great for bedtime as it got a very long running time. Very happy and hoping there will Shrek Tonies in the future.

A silly favorite
byWe borrowed this the Shrek tonie from our library and now we are going to have to add it to our collection! The kids have listened to it everyday. Donkey might be the show stealer.

Shrek
byMy daughter loves this tonie because it’s exactly like the film, its nice and long it just doesn’t have songs on but shes not bothered about that. I don’t think its the characters from the film but again shes not bothered by this.

Underwhelming
byI was very excited about this one because the shrek soundtrack has always been my favorite. Only to open it and realize it’s JUST the audiobook. Very underwhelming

Great story. Love the figure.
byIt tells the story perfectly fine however, it doesn’t use the Shrek characters voices like some of the other tonies I have do, which is quite the disappointment.

Don’t waste money on this one
byRegret this purchase. All the other Pixar Tonies start with songs but this has no music at all which is a disappointment given how great the movie soundtrack is. To make matters worse there are no sounds or snippets from the movie and they’ve made zero attempts to make the voice actors sound remotely similar (Shrek even has an American accent) Kids lost interest and switched off within 10 mins.

Boring presentation
byVery disappointed on the narration. I had hoped some well known character voices would be included but alas, it's a rather boring presentation. Think we'll hold off on future purchases unless there's a way to sample the narration.
