Don’t buy, if I could give a 0 I would. It says nursery rhymes but no where is there a disclaimer that it’s reggae music. My little one doesn’t recognise the songs and it was a waste of money.

What parents are saying
AI summary of customer 48 reviewsCustomers are divided on this product, with most praising the energetic, genre-blending remixes of nursery rhymes that inspire toddlers to dance and sing along enthusiastically. Many parents enjoy the music themselves, calling it catchy and refreshing. However, a substantial group feels misled by the departure from traditional versions, reporting children struggled to recognize altered melodies. Some describe the beats as annoying or weird. A few note the remixes feel overlong or overly stylized. Despite mixed reactions, most customers who embrace the modern style find it worthwhile.

Great Tonie
byOur daughter absolutely loves this!!! She plays it everyday. It took some getting used to as they’re not your usual rhymes, but dismissing the strange comments about the Jamaican accent was better and we’re glad we purchased this.

Great tunes!
byI’m not one to write reviews, good or bad. But I absolutely love this tonie! Such a good twist on the predictable (can I say boring) nursery rhymes!! After seeing all the bad reviews I had to leave a positive one! If you’re happy for a twist on the traditional nursery rhymes, with more of a groovy beat you’ll love this!

Not quite what I expected
byHow long can you sing one nursery rhyme for! Many of these are sung repeatedly for three minutes plus. I wish the genre had been made clear, as while the singing and music is lovely, it is not sung to the traditional tune familiar to my child, making it difficult to participate. I wish Tonies would look at Nick Hart and the real nursery rhyme protect, I would purchase a Tonie with the songs sung in a traditional folk style and the use of acoustic instruments.

Love it!
byI don’t understand all the negative reviews, this is our favourite tonie. It actually makes nursery rhymes enjoyable for all of us

Don’t be put off by the negative reviews
byWe bought this two days ago so happy we did, I was a bit put off by the negative reviews but the uptempo bear to the nursery classics is exactly what we were after, my daughter loves the songs and bops up a down. If you want something traditional then this is not for you, but traditional is what most children listen to anyway, so why not mix it up and get something different expose your child to a soca or reggae beat.

Different but fun
byThe reviews for this tonie did nearly put me off buying it but I’m glad we bought it. It is a bit different with the beat and sound but the lyrics are the same. There’s definitely a Caribbean influence to the tracks and they’re very upbeat. It did take a few songs to get used to, We love them and they’re really fun to dance too snd and a nice twist

Playtime and actions songs 2
byI took a risk after reading the bad reviews and have to say, don’t let them put you off - yes it different, but my 1 year old still recognises them and is dancing along. It’s nice to hear something a bit different to the ones you hear everyday anyway!

Fun to listen and clap along to, Jamaican themed?
byA little challenging to sing along to these versions of each song, but they're fun to listen to and clap along to, all the same - Jamaican theme maybe? Not as bad as other reviews make out, but definitely a little different to what you expect given the way this is advertised.

I hate it, but my toddler loves it!
byAs others have said, I would have loved a heads up that these are remixes of the original nursery rhymes. I personally think each song overstays its welcome and could have been a lot shorter, however my toddler loves it, so I get to enjoy it on repeat at all times of the day... At least they are happy!
